Calstate 1st Builders, Inc. is a Full Service Construction Company specializing in Prefabricated Industrial and Commerical Metal Building Structures.  Since 1998, Calstate has been serving as a Design-Build Contractor serving the Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

 

Calstate 1st Builders, Inc. was formed in 1998 by Eugene Springer and Jesse Jhawar,  who have built the business through hard work and old school values.

 

Principals:

 

Eugene (Gene) Springer has over 50 years of experience in the Metal Building Business.  Starting with Soule Steel in 1959 as a Draftsman, Gene grew with the company and rose to Lead Sales Engineer until he left Soule in 1969.

 

Gene then worked for Carl Brooks, Inc. a Long Beach based General Contractor and Soule Buildings Dealer where he managed the growth of the business.

 

Gene then started Calstate 1st Builders, Inc. with his partner and long time friend, Jesse Jhawar, where he has had great success.

 

Gene is also very active with the Southern California Builders Association (SCBA).  He has been on the board of directors for 6 Years and is currently the President of the Organization.

 

Gene enjoys good health and keeps himself busy with projects with Calstate 1st Builders and his other passion, Golf.  His 5 children and 10 grandchildren keep him busy over the weekends.
